The church of St. John the Theologian is located on the eastern edge of the settlement of Korthi, next to the post-Byzantine parish church of Theoskepasti and a short distance from the mid-Byzantine church of Agios Nikolaos. It belongs to the type of free cross, whose arms are covered with arches, at the intersection of which a blind hemispherical dome rises. The niche of the Holy Sanctuary is set in the eastern wall. During the conservation work inside the monument, frescoes were discovered that can be dated to the 13th century. The excavation research in the area surrounding the church brought to light building remains from various phases.
